2017 Suzuki VanVan 200 Announced for U.S.

Riders are really very excited for all the new bikes that are coming to the U.S. for 2017. Everything from the release of Yamaha XSR900, Victory Octane and now the VanVan! Amazing! It is the perfect motorcycle that is loaded with function and style. There are many who have been waiting for this move for years. Since 1970s, VanVan has been in Suzuki’s lineup but is never been sold in Canada or US. Sadly, it has not been listed in the Canadian 2017 lineup yet, but we can expect it for the Canadian lineup too.

VanVan 200 invites you to run free with your imagination with its relaxed styling design. VanVan has an EFI similar to long running DR200 and the bike is best designed for the urban environments. There is a retro styled and slim 1.7 gallon fuel tank with an electric starter and 5 speed transmissions. An air cooled single cylinder has been in Suzuki’s lineup which remains unchanged since the 1980s. It is powered by a 199cc air cooled four stroke OHC engine. It has an engine mounted to a diamond style steel frame which is similar to the one used in 125cc version. VanVan 200 is a good fit for the beginners as the handlebars provide an easy reach with the low 30.3 inch seat height.

The rear wheel still continues the retro theme with an old school drum brake and the front wheel is stopped by a two piston caliper. Riders can confidently scramble down at any surface due to its smooth suspension and fat tires. It uses an 18 inch wire spoke wheel with a wide 130/80 tire. While a 14 inch rear wheel with an extra wide 180/80 tire. It is an easy to access lightweight motorcycle that delivers you with great comfort and is loaded with individuality.

It includes a claimed 282.2 pound curb weight which is its main highlight. At first glance the bike looks like a dual sport but the tires are street biased. The tires help to tackle with most of the surfaces and the bike is aimed to everyone. The bike’s strong visual appeal with this lightweight package is truly amazing.

VanVan 200 is dedicated to the spirit of freedom with a compact and neat riding package which is ready for action. Get into the Spirit riders!
