Harley Expands Street Line with the Launch of 2017 Street Rod

Harley-Davidson announced its first Street lineup in 2013 which had some great features and there was a shift in the thinking of the riders. The first lightweight street models were 500 and 750 which were bundled with many great features such as single internal counterbalancer, locknut and screw valve adjustment, vertically split crankcases and a single overhead cam. And now we welcome Harley-Davidson Street Rod which is the part of the Street series. The new 2017 Harley-Davidson Street 750 can be considered as one of the best and finest of all the Harley’s Street bikes. The new 2017 Street Rod has a high Output Revolution X 750 and is considered as the third Street family member.

Since the time Street model was introduced by Harley back in 2013, 2017 Street Rod is the first rebuild of the street model. Prior to that, there was an RDX 800 bike that carried all the bike aesthetics fantastically. This new bike will provide you with everything that you expect from the best Harley bike. As the name of the bike describes, the new Street Rod 750 has the same underpinnings and is based on a standard street 750. This bike produces 8 percent more torque and 18 percent more power as compared to other Harley bikes.

The Harley-Davidson Street Rod has a  dual-throat throttle body, larger airbox, a higher-volume muffler, and four-valve cylinder heads. As compared to other bikes, it provides with 1,000 rpm. The lean angle of the 750 Street Rod is increased to 37.3 degrees from 28.5 degrees and has a longer swingarm which provides a taller and comfortable ride height. To enhance the look and feel of the bike, it has an electronic speedometer and comes with LED tail light. There are dual disc brakes for the brakes that provide with added safety and security.

The new Street Rod 750 has a High Output Revolution with a classic Harley look you expect from a new bike. This bike has a six-speed transmission with a 2-into-1 exhaust system and allows to customize your ride with the help of ScreaminÕ Eagle parts to enhance the experience of the riders. The bike also has a lightweight frame with adjustable rear shocks. The bike provides with the mid-mounted foot posts and a low pull-back handlebar that is suitable for all the riders and provides them with great comfort. The bike can be easily customized by installing any accessories and parts that give the bike a unique look.

The bike has a new electrical system and the wires are re-routed to give the bike a cleaner and modern look. It has a dual piston caliper and a single disc brake that provide with the best braking power. The shocks on the bike are tuned to provide excellent ride and smooth handling. It also features a fork lock and a locking gas cap to avoid the hazards involved in turning the front wheel when it is engaged. It also provides with a low center of gravity at low speeds when your feet go up on the pegs.

There is a teardrop-shaped gas tank along with versatile metal fenders. The new 750 Street Rod has a high-quality paint and one can opt for the Superior Blue, Vivid Black or Velocity Red Sunglo in a glossy metallic paint. If one opts for the Vivid black color than it gives a matte finish to the bike with an aggressive appearance. To make the bike appealing for the riders, it has bikini fairing and cafe style windshield that gives a rich look and style to the bike. There is a mini headlight inside the fairing of the bike with an accent stripe on the aluminum wheels.

The new 2017 Street Rod will be available with the dealers from the middle of March after the introduction of the bike at Daytona Bike Week. This new bike is hitting the streets at some foreign markets like Southeast Asia, China and India since the model were introduced in 2014. The sale of 750 model bike has seen a drastic growth recently. The  Street Rod seems to be a big hit after it is test driven by Grand National Champions like Nichole Mees, Brad Baker, Jared Mees and Mike Hacker. It is the first lightweight bike by Harley after the launch of Sprint in 1974 and the best all-new model in last 13 years.
