How to Turn an Ordinary Motorcycle Into a Racing Superbike

Superbikes are the hottest turbo beauties that many racers have the privilege to own. It takes perfect engineering to modify the stocked motorcycle machines into a racing one. These machines are mostly taken from the house of Yamaha and Suzuki. It is really important to have a good functioning mechanics for a superbike paired with the rider's dexterity to handle this engineered marvel. A racer needs a good technically transformed motorcycle to meet the 200mph remarkable speed.

The Suzuki version of GSX-R10000 is modified into a superbike for the premium power racing. However Yamaha R1 has been altered for Grand Prix motorcycle racing. The brakes and wheels are replaced with other components along the entire exhaust system for the controlled superbikes. Ignition control, engines, valves, crankshaft, pistons, etc. cannot be replaced completely, however it can be controlled accordingly.

The engineers use the mechanism of 430 lbs. to lighten and cut them to approximately 370 lbs. for the riders. EPA regulations of emissions are adhered by using exhaust systems of the motorcycle. These systems have better flow of air after it is regulated. The horsepower of about 220 is fitted in to the superbikes that is shifted from roughly 160 horsepower of stock machines.

Uploading maps is also a way of making the racing a great gain in the competition. These maps help in controlling the bike's traction and control of wheels.  The instructions provided from the maps also help in making good timings of ignition and engine brake control. The installation of these programmable maps is done easily, while some of the bikes like Ducati come with pre-installed instructions and sensors. However the superbikes need high variables that can be added to the extreme level, as used in superbikes.

The suspension and flex degrees have to be kept in mind while transforming the superbikes from the stocked machines. They are made immune to skids and rains and other weather forces for the rider's convenience and safety. During the race, the riders can shift their focus to other maps by using the controls of handlebars in the front. Shifting gears by these trained racers is done accordingly by maintaining the inertia of leaning towards the decelerating speed. The mechanics involved in making a motorbike into a racer involves a lot of changes and knack to maintain a high speed for a racer.
