There are not many performance bikes out there that are as generous as the BMW S1000R. The BMW S1000R possesses the capabilities of two bikes in one. It is safe, smooth and comfortable due to its perfect throttle, usable power, and electronic rider aids. Despite looking like a well-mannered bike, the BMW S1000R can be wilder than riders can imagine. It has a far more manageable power in the form of 160bhp (brake horsepower) and a better upright riding position. The BMW S1000R comes in two different versions; one is the naked version while the other is the Sports version. The Sports version is costlier.
The BMW S1000R is equipped with a solid chassis, Brembo calipers, Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa tires, and a completely adjustable suspension. The BMW’s Dynamic Damping Control is only obtainable through the Sports version, basically making the rebound and compression damping is adjustable during the ride. The adjustment is dependent on rear shock movement, throttle position, wheel speeds, road speed, deceleration, and acceleration. The detailed engineering behind the BMW S1000R can confuse even the best of engineers. Pay no attention to the details and know that the suspension of the bike is set perfectly, so riders would experience more stability and more grip.
Upon entering the third gear, the bike has the juice to muscle it further than most can imagine. The throttle is smooth and the traction control system is superb as it is adjustable through the buttons on the bar which indicates riding mode. The BMW S1000R has a good quality build despite not having an exquisite build of top exotic super-bikes. The basic S1000R is fully equipped with multifunction LCD dash, Brembos, sporty tires, adjustable suspension, racing ABS, stability control, and two electronic rider aids. The Sports version has LED indicators, belly-pan, heated grips, cruise control, full traction control, and two more riding modes. Other BMW accessories that come together with the bike include performance goodies, tail pack, and a tank bag.
