What happens when you want to design a bike that has a higher horsepower of 25 while still being 10 kilos lighter? Well, you get the Ducati 959 Panigale! This bike is essentially a superbike when it comes to high performance and brilliant design. In fact, it is an updated version of Ducati’s 899 Panigale track bike.
The new model comes in a vibrant red that is set to turn heads. The 959 Panigale has a twin-cylinder production engine that adds to its overall efficiency. It has a 955cc engine capacity, making it, by all means, a Ducati superbike! The bike easily produces 107Nm of torque, 157bhp and it also has a ride-by-wire throttle.
The design of the bike is essentially aggressive thanks to the wider fairing and windshield elements. The LED lamps add to the design while serving the functional aspect. It also has lightweight aluminum front forks. The braking of the 959 Panigale is managed by a single 245mm rear disc and two 320mm discs up front.
With the standard ABS system, the bike is equipped to serve you well. The 959 Panigale also has a power mode that’s included in the Ducati riding mode. It can be ridden in three riding modes, namely, race mode, sports mode, and wet mode. The radial and tubeless tires have a fantastic grip
The bike easily competes with the Triumph Daytona 675R. Which one is better, though? It’s too early to say. The bike has a digital speedometer, electric start, 2 cylinders, and a liquid cooling system. The manual gearbox comes with 6 gears and the entire bike is built on a die-cast aluminum monocoque frame. The bike has a top speed of 289 kph while it has a 17-liter fuel tank.
If you’re planning to bring this one home, you will surely enjoy its fantastic power delivery! It's also now available in India!
