Ducati India has expanded its product portfolio in India and launched its latest salvo in the highly lucrative Indian motorcycle market. The Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro, which currently claimed to be the most adventurous motorcycle in the Ducati lines, is an off-road focused Multistrada variant that boasts 19-inch spoked front wheel and 17-inch spoked rear wheel.
The bike is powered by the 1,198.4cc Desmodromic L-Twin cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is tuned to churns out a whopping 160 horsepower at 9500 rpm and a peak torque of 136 Nm. Its engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
The adventure-ready Multistrada 1200 Enduro comes in four riding modes- Sport, Touring, Urban, and Enduro. It also features full LED headlamps with light cornering functions, hands-free ignition, cruise control, 5-inch color instructional panel, a 200 mm wheel travel, a semi-active electronic front and rear Sachs suspension, and a 30-litre fuel tank for an extended driving range of over 450 km.
Additionally, the new bike also comes with a new backlit handlebar switches, a highly innovative Cornering Lights, a semi-active Skyhook Suspension (DSS), a Ride-by-Wire, Ducati Wheelie Control, a Vehicle Hold Control System, and an active and passive rider assists systems called Ducati Traction Control (DTC). The new bike is capable of detecting jumps and can automatically adjust the suspension to provide a softer landing.
In addition to the DTC and DSS, the new Multistrada also comes with the latest digital technology, which includes a full-TFT display for showing all the necessary driving information and the Ducati Multimedia System for connecting smartphones to the bike via Bluetooth technology. This enhances connectivity enable the rider to share its data across the internet.
The Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro is currently available across Ducati dealerships in India. The Italian brand has a big presence in India and has dealerships in New Delhi, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Pune, and Bangalore. The company’s other product portfolio, which includes Diavel, Multistrada, Hypermotard and Panigale family, are also available in India.
