Everyone who appreciates motorsports has a place in their hearts for Formula One Racing. The cars, the adrenaline, the drama - all of this combined makes Formula One a sport that few others can compete with as far as pure excitement and adrenaline is concerned.
While there are many Formula One drivers that people love, a few really stand out for one reason or another. Michael Schumacher is arguably the world’s most famous and revered Formula One driver, but there are many current ones that are taking the sport to another level. One of these is Lewis Hamilton, and if owning the race tracks wasn’t enough, he has just designed a vehicle that reeks of beauty and sheer awesomeness.
About Lewis Hamilton
Lewis Hamilton recently became the Formula One World Champion for the third time in his career, having previously won the title in 2008 and 2014. Hamilton met Ron Dennis, the McLaren team principal, in 1995 when he was only ten years of age. He told him that he wanted to race for McLaren one day. Within three years of that day, he was signed by McLaren and Mercedes-Benz for their Young Driver Support Program. After winning three championships under the program, he was signed by McLaren as their Formula One Driver in 2007.
Lewis Hamilton is one of the more aggressive drivers on the track. He is often criticized for pushing his vehicles a bit too far, but mostly he has pulled through. He has shown the world what a young and passionate driver can do in the world of Formula One Racing, and on top of that he has just designed a beautiful bike to show off his creativity and his love for motorcycles.
A Partnership Gone Right
Lewis Hamilton’s love for bikes is apparent from his recent partnership with motorcycle manufacturer, MV Agusta. This manufacturer’s design prowess is clear from their history with MotoGP.
Partnering with MV Agusta, Hamilton has co-designed a bike that is fast and light, not to mention stunningly beautiful. The bike, by the name of the Dragster RR LH44, is going to be produced only 244 times and is an exclusive product.
All About Speed
The bike boasts an 800cc three-cylinder engine capable of unleashing a massive 140 horsepower with a whopping 13,100 rpm. This bike is a speed demon, designed to appeal to those who are head-over-heels into motorbikes. The body is largely composed of lightweight carbon fiber, also adding to the overall speed. And in order to keep the bike under control at high speeds, it is also equipped with integrated traction that has a total of eight settings.
The bike has various hints of being a Lewis Hamilton design, like the number 44 that is put on the gas tank as well as the exhaust manifolds, and the overall color scheme is influenced from Hamilton’s helmet.
If all of this sounds attractive enough to you, act fast to get your hands on the limited edition bike. It’ll cost you $26,144, and in return you’ll get a bike that is fast, exclusive, and a beauty in the world of motorsports.
