Kapil Shelke, the young founder of Tork Motorcycle is all set to launch India’s fastest electrical motorbike. The young motorbike enthusiast, after completing the study of mechanical engineering in 2010 joined hands with his father and inaugurated the company. The production phase of the motorbike is already completed and is expected to hit commercial platforms in a few months.
In a recent interview, Kapil Shelke shares the dream of launching India’s fastest motorbike was formed during his college years. At first he aimed to create the world’s fastest motorcycle but owing to the expensive production cost he decided to pursue the dream for his country.
The electrical motorbike is designed to give the consumers approximately 85 km per hour. Known as the T6X, the motorbike charging cost is predicted to be around Rs.10. the same charge is expected to run about 2 hours or 100 kms. This is pretty economical and according to Kapil Shelke, it will ease motorcyclists worry of the rising gasoline prices.
Maker of T6X also claims that the battery used in the creation of his dream is imported and of highest quality. It is also predicted to last 80,000 – 100, 000 kilometers. However, other parts used in the making are locally sourced and developed.
Since majority of individuals in India (and of course, the world) prefer to remain connected for most parts of the day – Tork Motorcycle have set up India’s fastest electrical motorbike in such a way that it can be connected with the motorcyclists android or iOs device. The motorbike which is all set to launch soon features some never-seen before components.
Cloud connectivity, full digital display, and quick charge-up are just some of the cool features one can expect from the creation of Tork Motorcycle. Navigation which is now commonly used in cars will also make an appearance in T6X. Furthermore, the motorcyclist’s preferred device can also be connected and provide him or her with detailed information about their health, service, and riding profile.
A big project like T6X requires a lot of funding, doesn’t it? When asked this question, Kapil Shelke excitedly confronted that they are sufficiently funded to start production. The host of funders includes founders of Ola and CoCubes.
Kapil Shelke along with his team at Tork Motorcycle is very excited about the grand launch. Kapil Shelke has a sales goal of selling 100,000 motorbikes in three years. He also expects the sales target to increase to 500,000 within five years.
Tork Motorcycle is all set to correct the perceptions of the people that motorcycles are just a mode of convenient transportation which can easily whiz in and out of traffic. A motorcycle can be more than that. It can provide similar luxury to cars and T6X is here to prove it.
Let’s wish Tork Motorcycle all the best for the launch of India’s fastest electrical motorbike which is all set to appear on Indian roads within a few months. Good luck Kapil Shelke and his team. We can’t wait to try out one of those babies.
